Sustainability
We all know that there is no Plan(et) B and we all need to do what we can to restore our planet to it's former glory....including businesses, no matter how small they are!
Being sustainable is one of our Partysaurus top 5 values... but what does that really mean?
Choosing FSC Products where available - The Forest Stewardship Council promotes responsible management of forests around the world, meaning that the forests registered with FSC are managed in a way that is environmentally responsible, beneficial to society, and economically viable. The high standards behind the FSC certification protect the people, animals and plants that rely on those forests now and in years to come. It means that registered forests follow responsible forestry practices proven to help fight climate change and protect biodiversity.
Where you see the FSC logo on the products that Partysaurus stock and sell, it means that the materials used during the production processes have met the requirements at every step in the supply chain, from sourcing to distribution.
Selecting products that can be reused or recycled - At Partysaurus we don't want to perpetuate the problem of things going to landfill, so we commit to selling products that can be reused or recycled, in order to reduce landfill waste!
Did you know that air fill foil balloons can be reused many time over?! My son's Paw Patrol airfill sitter foil balloon, has been re-inflated more time than I can remember and is still going strong over 18 months after his last birthday! The Partysaurus preference is air filled solutions vs. helium, because the balloons are less likely to float away and end up in the environment.
The latex balloons we source from our supplier, are made from a natural latex, known as caoutchouc. This natural and renewable raw material is sourced from rubber trees, which do a great job at filtering CO2 from the air, in turn, helping us reduce pollution and are home to many birds, insects, and animals. And they are not hurt during the extraction process! These latex balloons are made without using any fillers, extenders, plasticizers or any cost reducing agents and have excellent helium and air retention. They also fulfill the highest safety and quality standards.
Supporting initiatives - You can't deny that balloons are a staple part of party decor! From latex balloons to foil balloons, they come in all shapes, sizes and colours; they grab your attention and create a fun and inviting atmosphere, but they can be very damaging for the environment if not used responsibly. There is an increasing awareness that inflated balloons can make their way back to earth or water and are a potential threat for wildlife as they're often ingested. Therefore Partysaurus supports the European Balloon and Party Council's 'Don't let go' initiative. Click here to find out more about the initiative, or here to find Partysaurus' position statement on the release of balloons. Please spread the word by using #globalballoonawareness on your social media posts.

Whether this be by changing the way we do things, or simply by helping you to understand and navigate what you can do, too. A great place for anyone to to start is the The Waste and Resources Action Programme . Recycle Now™ is the national recycling campaign for England and Northern Ireland, which aims to motivate more people, to recycle more of the right things, more often.
